The Pro trial is one month and is offered once per account. Checkout runs through Stripe and takes a card, the first charge lands when the free month ends, and promo codes can be entered at checkout.
Cancel any time from the billing page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to Free.
Back on Free, cloud boards over the free limit become view-only and you choose which one stays editable. Boards on your device are never affected.
